San Luis Scion Asks People to Text their Representative on Speakership Issue . . . Representative-elect Edgar San Luis (Independent, Laguna, 4th district) yesterday appealed to the public to write, call, email or text their congressmen, especially the first-termers, on their choice of Speaker of the House of Representatives. "The choice for the Speaker of the House of Representatives is too important to be left to us congressmen and congresswomen alone," said San Luis. "We need leaders, not dealers!" According to him, the "issue of leadership in the House goes beyond numerical superiority among those in the majority coalition. It is not a question of numbers. It is a question of integrity."   . . .  .  .  . more

"These, of course, are not for you," she scribbled on the covering note. "But feel free to share with friends who’re showing signs of wear and tear." Here they are: Sticker 1 : "Goodbye Tension.
